As part of the urban transformation of the site of the former Pernod manufacturing and bottling plants in Créteil (94) (located near the company’s head office, an inverted pyramid visible from the A86 motorway), TRANS-FAIRE, as environmental project manager, supported Bouygues Immobilier, the project owner, throughout the project, with the completion of the impact study in 2011 and the award of the BiodiverCity label in 2014.
TRANS-FAIRE worked with Bouygues Immobilier on the technical aspects of achieving the objectives set by the standards, which are organized around 4 axes: commitment, project, ecological potential and amenities.
Based on the diagnostic elements of the impact study, a biodiversity approach was chosen for the project and implemented in the outdoor spaces and buildings by the architects and landscape architects.
Biodiversity supports numerous ecosystem services, such as landscape creation, nuisance regulation and climate buffering. The aim was to define a coherent development plan that went beyond the mere symbolic installation of greening elements or objects for wildlife.
